Clockwise from top: appetizers ntakos kritikos (diced tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, olives, oregano and olive oil over bread), and melitzanosalata (roasted eggplant, garlic, olive oil & herbs spread); entree mousakas (eggplant, potatoes, ground beef, bechamel), and lahanodolmades (my favorite - cabbage stuffed with meat and rice, topped with egg lemon sauce).

P.S. all names and descriptions from their online menu, of course - no chance that I'd remember any of that!

This was the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc used in preparing the Valentine's Day meal; we picked the wine purely for that nice picture on the bottle. ;) Coincidentally, there's a pomelo salad recipe that popped up on my blog roll today.

Hakata ramen (noodles in salty (tonkotsu?) broth with pork, pickled cabbage, scallions, ginger, carrots and sesame seeds) at Rai Rai Ramen.

The waiter talked us into trying a Taiwanese/Hong Kong specialty: stinky tofu!
