Cute little shop in Easton, PA where we got "carmelcorn", two kinds of licorice (yummy!), Irish potatoes, and Pop Rocks (haven't seen that since I was a kiddo!) Yes, all bad for you...

Then, we hopped across the street to the Crayola store, where ML picked out a can of crayons for me from their weird, wonderful selection. <3

I was craving sausages and when we saw the sign outside Castle Grill for kielbasa sandwiches, we had to stop. This sign was inside Castle Grill. We should've taken it as an omen...

A Walk through Central Park, NYC

Peachy!

We came here originally to get some fresh fruit and/or veggies, then we saw that we could pick our own peaches for $1.29/lb! (We ended up with some 9 lbs...)

We stopped at this house on our way home because they were advertising baby rabbits for sale, but no one came to answer the doorbell. Nevertheless, it's a cute house with the pink lanterns. :)

Qualifying Exam Results!

I was delaying finding out the results, hence random mushroom picture on my walk to where the results were posted. :p

ML took this. I was just relieved I wasn't below The Line ie, the one that separated those who passed from those who didn't. Phew!

World Cup 2010

The Return

Four days after my last post, I got the assigned papers for my qualifying examination, so over the subsequent two weeks and a few days, that consumed most of my time (ie, the time that wasn't spent procrastinating). Quals and studying for quals really put me out of the mood to take pictures, so here's one from today and the few that I did take during that time.

Fondue Party in the Future

Somebody was getting rid of their old stuff and I totally fell for the blue and yellow dinner set with missing pieces and chipped bowls - they were cheery, and homey, and cheap hehe... and the little fondue pot was a steal too!
